Paper Airplanes

Paper airplanes

Riding on a whim

Lightly wrinkling

Sleeping on the wind

Slower than a jet

Losing every bet

A sailor in the storm

The way that she was born

Paper airplanes

Quiet, faintly thin

Watching all the

People watching him

No engines made of steel

Wheels that squeak and squeel

No wings of that and this

It is just what it is

Paper airplanes

Swinging round the bend

Flapping oddly

Searching for a friend

Round and round it goes

Maybe fast or slow

Closer to the end

To daylight as it dims

Paper airplanes

Doing what they do

Paper airplanes

Nothing else is true
